What soaps gives you the best post-shave feel only considering artisan soap makers? When I say post-shave feel I mean a soap that leaves your face well hydrated, smooth, and irritation free.

For me right now I would have to say CRSW Select.

CRSW Select, definitely.
Saponificio Varesino is very nice too, in this regard.

For me that would have to be Strop Shoppe LE formula.

I agree with CRSW Select, and Strop Shoppe. I would add Soap Commander to the list...

Has to be Strop Shoppe LE for me, and it's not close. 2nd place is a tie between B&M and CRSW Select at the moment. I suspect MLS's new LE soaps will contest for that #2 spot as well.

XPEC is indeed lovely, however it's neither soap nor artisan. Winky

I've recently "discovered" Mickey Lee Soap Works, and I'm really, really digging it! It's a hard(ish) soap/croap, lathers very easily, seems to have a fantastic post-shave feel, not too expensive, (although not as cheap as Arko...) and is offered in some truly unique, wonderful scents. There are also some really nice aftershave "milks" (very thin lotions) available to match/compliment the soap scents. Really remarkable stuff. :-)
