Hi Everyone,
Wanted an opinion on whether this is a two band or three band brush. It looks like a two band to me, but when I get it wet or in the right light it looks a bit like a three band to me. It also has backbone that is much closer to my other Simpson three bands than any of my Manchurians. The lighter hair at the bottom of the knot is throwing me a bit too.
Two band right?
Thanks for your thoughts.
Greg

Kind of looks 2.5 to me too actually....Its really the lack of two band backbone thats throwing me. Maybe that was the feel of two band brushes years ago?

certainly I would call that a 2-band knot, when we used to have them it wasn't so unusual for a little bit of white near the base, remember that the hair always has that white part, it is just that on the '2-band' designated pcs the % of the total hair height that is the dark zone is much bigger
