Hi guys, just got my puck of MWF and I'm inpressed, I lathered it up just fine and got a nice shave. However while I had the soap really warm the scent really came to life and I kept thinking this soap smells like something my grand dad used to use,and for the life of me it's driving me crazy but it has that familiar scent. Anybody know what it cold be Old spice maybe,I dunno. Mitchells being so old I'm sure whatever I'm thinking of was probably made after the scent or I could be wrong. Maybe this post makes sense or maybe I'm babbling like a mad man. Lol

I agree with the both of you. It's like a real classic clean laundry scent.

only way I can describe it is going into the bathroom after my father or grandfather just got ready to go to work,if that makes sense. Maybe some kind of hair tonic I've got my wife's sniffer n the case she'll have it nailed down before too long. She agrees so far it smells like our father's and grandfather's bathrooms after they were getting ready

LOL,it really really does. In a good way in my opinion triggers happy times in my youth, who would of thought all that from smelling a soap.

Gentlemen, stop and think what your dad's and granddad's used that was also used by barbers. Give up? I will tell you what it is. It is the clean scent of MWF with just a touch of talc scent.
TALC, that is what is bringing back the old memories. And yes, grandmother's used talc in the bathroom too.
