Hey all,

I just wanted to see if anyone had any feedback or reviews on this brush. Its a 26x52 Silvertip badger brush with an 80mm handle.

If you haven't tried this particular brush, have you tried any omega silvertip brushes? Is it pillowy soft like a Kent? Scrubby? Mop like?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated...

I had an Omega 6234, which has a 22mm knot set at a loft of 55mm.  I would call it pillowy soft, with no scrub.  Some would call it floppy, which is not necessarily a bad characteristic if you give priority to softness.  The brush you're looking at has a 26mm knot set at a loft of 52mm, so it should definitely have more backbone.

I had the same brush and I agree about the softness. I also had a 6215 that had thicker shafts and increased backbone, but remained very soft. No scritch in either of these brushes.

I also had a 6215 which measured 24/60mm on my calipers.  The brush was fully capable of face lathering and was very soft on the face with zero scrub and virtually no backbone, but it was enjoyable.  The only thing I didn't care for was at the taller loft the hairs would splay too easily and make the knot feel very large and hard to control.  I think if the knot actually meets the specs you posted it would be a wonderful all around brush.  Make sure to give us feedback if you decide to purchase.
