I find this trend of calling things 'xx of the gods' to be annoying.

Especially since many of them are clearly biased and/or just repeating their fellow colleagues. Off course this also happens on the forums, but after being a member for a long time it is easy to tell who is on board the hype machine and who is giving an honest review. For newbies, I would highly recommend ignoring everybody's initial review of a product and wait for their opinion after several uses.

I'm fairly sure by "gods" he meant "god", Sterculius to be precise.

Phil, will you be carrying this in your Accessories section, or Aftershave?

I agree, more than you know! It's tasteless to me.

...then again, I'm old school; so most hype and modern things are annoying to me.

The soap reviews well with many users leonidas.

I do believe the consensus is the term "Soap of the Gods" is overused and not very descriptive of a product.

No but you can find it at most Ethiopian Restaurants (as long as they have a liquor license). They usually refer to it as honey wine rather than Mead...same thing though.

Leonidas, Your Greek gods all had BEARDS. I've known this fact since watching HERCULES with Steve Reeves as a small boy.

The hype is out of control. I'm struggling to remember any of those blogger/youtube reviews that has disliked any soap (other than some easy non-artisan targets).
