Newly manufactured, re-designed injectors have not been available for years. Injectors, however, are wonderful  shavers and a few of us are now using what is left available such as the original, antiquated injectors produced earlier by Schick-Eversharp, Personna and PAL. I believe manufacturing of novel, re-designed injectors is overdue and that the market is ready - outdated Schick injectors fly off Ebay like hot cakes. So far, only eBarbershop offers a newly manufactured Schick-like injector (the one with an ergonomic handle).  Injector blades are widely available and the bottleneck is not in the blades, but in the injector handles. Do we need novel injectors or am I totally wrong here?

Mongoose is working on a "Mini-goose".  But there are no 'modern' manufacturers of injector blades apart from Chinese Schicks (Chicks) or Ted Pella blades.
It's a niche market within a niche market.

In addition to TedPella, the blades are likely produced by http://www.razorbladeco.com/ - Razor blade company; http://www.emsdiasum.com - Electron Microscopy Sciences, and Personna (called mini-shapers). Naturally, it is difficult for me to figure out who is the real manufacturer and who is re-selling.

There is no such thing as Ted Pella blades. They are a distributor of various blades and medical supplies on line. The injector blades are Personna and Ted Pella doesn't try to hide that fact. As far as a new injector I bought a Chinese made Schick clone years ago and it still might be available online (eBay). As far as a Minigoose is concerned they may never be mass produced. It's up to Mongoose.
