So I was fortunate to receive a container of Nuavia Blu from my in-laws as a gift and it arrived yesterday. First impressions, packaging is top notch. Box is high quality and the ceramic jar that holds the soap is large and very nice. The scent of the soap is very pleasant and lingers long after the shave. I shaved at 630am and can still smell it. Lathering was super simple. I followed the instructions of about 20 swirls to load the brush and I was good to go. I tried going to a bowl first and found right to the face was the best way to go. Super rich lather that did not dissipate at all during the shave. The unique thing about it is that it is also a post shave. I was unsure how to use it so I squeezed the ezcess from the brush and applied it as you would apply a balm. This went very well and left my face feeling smooth and moisturized. I contacted Marco at Pannacrema and he said this is how it should be used. This is definitely an excellent soap and I can't wait to use it tomorrow. I'll post my thoughts tomorrow if anyone is interested. Just thought I would put my two cents out there. [attachment=16889][attachment=16890][attachment=16891][attachment=16892]

Thank you for sharing, this one picqued my interest as well.  How large is the bowl?  I have owned a few 5" diameter bowls that I struggled with and being that it is fragile I wouldn't want to set myself up for disaster.

Where can you purchase this soap and dish? I can't find it anywhere on their site.

Thx,

I have tried the Nuavia Βlu and I have to say that it's one of the best soaps. The performance is outstanding, leaves the skin smooth and hydrated. You don't even have to use after shave balms. It's not necessary. The scent is amazing, but I can't describe it. The bowl is beautiful and the packaging one of the best I came across. It's pricey but I think it deserves a try.

Great! Enjoy the soap. The lather in the picture looks very nice.

"I was unsure how to use it so I squeezed the ezcess from the brush and applied it as you would apply a balm"
By the way, IMHO this can be done with many other soaps, such as MWF, ... I know it is against what some or many may recommend, arguing drying the skin, and so on. But I have never had any problem.

In fact, taking the example of myrsol emulsion to apply after the shave, it contains stearic acid, glycerin, ... Ingredients which can be also found in shaving soaps in addition to other oils. But, YMMV and it is just an opinion.

I got a chance to try the Blu and the Rossa as part of a passaround. They were a treat to use.
The scent -- especially of the Blu -- is a pleasure. The density of the lather is something else.
But the main thing I found remarkable is that the Nuàvia soaps live up to their claim that you can use them alone, without extra attention to prep of the need for an aftershave.
Some might feel deprived by the latter, but the face feel is terrific.

Sounds great.

Please let me and the rest know how it is.
Pannacrema is one of the brands I have very little reservations about!  Smile

I agree with the thoughts of pannacrema. It's great soap. I'm sure these won't disappoint.

Please let us know!
