So my wife came to me asking for help. She had found a ring and had been wearing it. Well she could not get the ring off for nothing, she tried dish soap, bath soap and several other "slick" things and nothing. I was about to give up when it dawned on me, I palm lather new soaps to test slickness and I just wonder it that will work. Sure enough I grabbed a brush and some soap and lathered her hand up. The ring came off first try no problems! So guys if you or anyone you know gets a ring stuck on their finger throw some shave soap on it!

Nice!  You should messed with her first. Pull out a razor and tell her you need to "whittle" the finger down a bit. Biggrin

I would have messed with her with it but her hands swell a lot. Last time this happened we had to go to the fire station and they cut it off with a can opener looking thing. Not a good idea for me to threaten removal of body parts with sharp objects as she could turn the tables real fast. I can hear her know saying yep you haft to go to sleep sometime.

That is how it s done. For real! In surgery, soap and a thick Monofilamentsliding around beneath the rim of the ring is what saves many rings
