As the title states, what's the difference if any between the TABAC Cream and the TABAC soap.

And before someone says it, I know one is a cream and one is a hard soap.Smile

Sorry, Johnny, i can not help you. i really like the simplicity of Tabac's packaging and i wish their ingredients would follow suit, so i have never tried it. However, i hope you keep enjoying it.

Like night and day when skin care comes : the soap is good skin care wise, the cream is pretty mediocre,to be honest.Ill go for the soap any day of the week and Ill rather skip shaving if I have to use the cream, enough said.

Exactly! The soap is easy to use. I could never get enough lather from the cream to make a three pass shave. The Tabac cream I had was a gold color. Scent is similar to the soap but slightly different, too. Tabac cream is not bad, but it falls far short of matching the soaps reputation.

I've never used the cream. Does it contain tallow?

I've only just started using the TABAC soap. In the past I've used the "gold" coloured cream with great success. The soap however, is my preference.

I found the soap to be the superior performer. The scents are very similar, but I always get a better shave from the soap.

why do you say that?

I have the cream and it performs pretty good for me and I like its scent, but never tried the soap yet.

Me too. I always get lots of protective lather from the cream. The only downfall is that blob of whatever that precedes the flow of the cream from the tube.
If the soap is THAT much better, I'm really missing out!

I bought the cream on sale some months ago to compare the two. The cream, like others have said, is no match for the soap. However, in an effort to use up the cream, I've found that the two used together make a great super lather.

I have only used the soap but I really enjoy it. I get a great lather and I love the scent. It is definitely one of my favorites.
