Floris No. 89 Shaving Cream
Inspired by Teiste's reviews of Floris soap I decided to try the Floris no. 89 cream.

Introduced in 1951, No. 89 takes its name from the number of the Floris shop, 89 Jermyn Street and was popularised by Ian Fleming's James Bond.
With added Aloe Vera and Glycerine plus Allantoin and Chamomile to sooth, this non-soap based, light formulation is suitable for use with sensitive skin.
Orange and bergamot blended with lavender and neroli give No. 89 its classical cologne aspect.
Warmed with a touch of spicy nutmeg, the floral heart is underscored by the dominant woody accord of sandalwood, cedarwood and vetiver.
This is a quintessential English gentleman's fragrance.

A small squeeze of Floris in to my warm Georgetown scuttle.

In seconds the lather is forming.

A few more drops of water.

Wonderful lather!
The cream lathers easily, provides sufficient cushion, good glide and some hydration.
The most enjoyable aspect of using this is the scent.

I prefer the Floris 89 cream to the soap. The scent is all there in all its glory. The performance of the cream is first rate.
There are lots of great performing products out there. When I use Floris products, it's not just for the performance, it's for the scent. And this cream scores a 10 on both counts.
