My Thater 4125/2 just seems to do a better job at bowl lathering than any of my other brushes. With my M&F Polo Blonde Badger a very close second.

I like the way my Kent bk4 and 8 explode with lather in a bowl.

I very rarely bowl lather.  My favorite brush to use when I do is my Plisson HMW size 20.

Mustafa, I never bowl-lather, but if I did, I would have to go with my longer handles:  all are around 70-73mm.

I use both the Hive and Chubby 2 for bowl lathering.  Both do a great job.

I bowl lather half the time. When I do I have a few good ones. One's a boar actually, a big Marvy 4, I'll post pictures later. But I also have an Ever Ready 150 that Gary did for me in a TGN Best bulb knot that works beautifully, and my Rooney Stubby 3 is great for both face and bowl, my little Rooney 3/1, a Frank Shaving Finest Fan in a Persian Jar Jade, yes I have a few and I'll post pics when I can.

Mustafa, thank you, but it is actually Rootbeer colour and not red. Biggrin

Celestino, those photos are beautifully composed Sisi . Long handles are my preference for bowl lathering as well.

Thanks, Charlie! They work very well for face-lathering as that is all I do. I don't enjoy lathering any other way.  Biggrin

I don't have a whole lot of choices (yet), but I guess my EJ best badger would be my favorite at the moment.

Omega boar brush. I can load it hard without worry of damaging the brushes.
