That one made me spit my milk!  Nice!

Got to agree with waxing though.  Who would have thought a cowboy would own his own wax pot?  I too find breathing easier.

The only way I could trim my ear hair with scissors would be to use a trifold mirror like this https://www.amazon.co.uk/Conair-TM7LX-ma...air+mirror, and even then it would prove to be a difficult task(because I would need very good dexterity). Holding another mirror in one hand and trimming with the other would be even more difficult.

I use a pair of scissors, from Tweezerman, for these purposes.  It is slanted, and, has rounded ends.

Can you trim your ear hair with them?

I have been using the Groomsman, (Dovo version, the same) and no trouble in nose and ears. It's simple like a straight razor and done carefully, no problem.

My local Kurdish barber offers to wax nose hairs, took him up on the offer a few times - it's fantastic. They get cotton buds with warm wax, insert only a small bit into the nostril, wait till it sets and yank it out quickly. Susprisingly, this doesn't hurt. I'm so hooked on it that I bought my own hard wax and I do it at home myself.

I can't find the thick cotton buds they use, but 2 or 3 taped together does the trick. I use brazillian hard wax, heat a bit up on the stove. Just enough to do the job. Far far better than trimming, it doesn't grow back as quick and it gets the base of the nostril really smooth. I'm surprised this isn't more popular, took me ages to get the balls to do it myself, just couldn't find much on the internet about it!!!
