I've enjoyed using a number of boars from Omega and Semogue. The only badger I've tried is a TGN finest which I mounted (not very well) to a spare handle. Please recommend other badgers I might like (22-24 mm knot) which are reasonably priced and would have a similar feel and performance to a broken-in boar. Thanks

Kind of a tough one in my opinion.  Badger is always going to have a different feel than boar.  What is reasonably priced (kind of subjective) and what in particular do you like about boar that you want to replicate in a badger?  Face or bowl lather?

A little more detail might make it easier.

If you face lather Simpsons The Colonel X2L Best Badger is a nice brush at a nice price.

I would recommend a Semogue SOC 2-band. Great brush for the price. Smile
