If it is black fibre like in my inexpensive Balea (local drugstore product in Germany),  it might be an excellent performer Thumbsup

Someone, let me know how it performs, splays, etc! I'd love to have a black brush!

Received my brush today... First impressions are very positive! Super soft fibers, very similar to my Plisson. I agree that it has more backbone than the Plisson, but it still splays very easily. I test lathered with B&M soap this evening and it whipped up lather just as well as my Muhle and Plisson synthetics. It has an extremely soft face feel and held soap very well while releasing it easily as I lathered across my face. I think it is a solid brush and it actually exceeded my expectations having not heard much at all about this brush or brand name. The looks are spectacular. The handle, I believe, is hollow, but it feels really good in the hand with it's rubberized coating. For those that have said it looks dark blue, it is definitely black to my eye. The fibers are very black, as well. After my initial test lather, I would definitely recommend this brush to any synthetic lover out there. Thumbup

I'll have to try this out. Really want a black brush. I don't have a good synthetic in my collection, yet.

From what I remember of my muhle black fiber it was fan shaped and less dense and more springy, but also had a interesting handle. Felt more like a smaller brush.

It's such a pity I can't get one of these shipped to Australia (unless I want to pay the ridiculous $41 shipping charge!...seriously, it would cost like 7 bucks to ship it!).

I would have loved to try one!

Looks like they also have a very interesting black handle/white hair version.
