I usually go by the weather.
But I guess now I go by the week's forecast because I'm just using one soap per week.
How do you choose?

I usually just stand in front of all my soaps and grab which ever one jumps out at me. Biggrin

I strop my razor and pick out my soap and brush the night before, as I need to be on the road to my office by 6:30 AM. Sometimes, I've seen mention of a soap on TSN or in a SOTD photo, and remember that I haven't used it in awhile. Often, I look at my storage boxes that are overflowing with soaps, and the urge to use one just hits me. If I recently purchased a soap, I'm probably using it every other day for awhile. I have a half dozen soaps that are my star performers, and I'm usually using one of those about every third day, and try to use a variety of different soaps on the other two days. I rarely use the same soap two days in a row.

I use the same soap on consecutive days until I feel like using something else. Usually this ends up at around 3-5 days.

I walk into the bathroom and realize that I didn't get the soap I wanted to use ready the night before so I end up using whatever's there. Smile

I have a wooden tray on the counter and usually keep at least five soaps out for easy access. I rotate these in and out based on novelty (new) or favoritism, etc. Beyond that I may get inspired to pull something else out based on conversations, mood, weather, who knows what else and go ad hoc.

I usually decide the night before and rarely use the same soap consecutively.

I smell a few that I haven't used in awhile and pick the one whose scent my nose tells me I'm in the mood for.

I say Mitchell's or not. If not Mitchell's I too just go for the one that jumps out at me.

Pretty much this. And sometimes I'll open the jar, take a whiff, and just decide today's not the day. Grab another one, repeat.

It's easy for me, I use a soap from start to finish. I'll start thinking about what soap is best when I'm about a week away from finishing the current one off.

Menthol on Monday then I pick a soap and a brush for the week. Weekends are grab what I want. If I get tired of a soap mid week I change but usually change the brush then too. Razors change daily.

I generally have a soft, hard, and cream soap on the counter.  I choose what strikes my fancy for the day.

In an effort to work down inventory yet still enjoy variety, I have two in heavy rotation, which get used five out of seven days between them.
The other days are wild cards but tend to come from a few that I have at my office when I go to the gym there.

Weather is a big help. Then if I have an AS picked out, I can suit the soap to enjoy a longer experience with some of the similar notes in the overall scents.

This is basically how I was doing it too (when switching soaps every day), and the weather always seems to play a big part in what jumps out at me!

Most times I set up the night before. If I wake up and have a change of heart then I grab what I'm in the mood for. If I don't have a hankering then I just grab one I haven't used in a little while.

I've gotten to where all my soaps are winners to my taste in soaps so no matter what I grab its a win in my book.

I have an app on my phone that randomly picks one and that is 'generally' how I get mine chosen for me. Of course sometimes there's something I just feel like using so I'll just grab that one and go with it.

I have a wooden tray with 12 or so Mystic Water sticks and I just rotate them in an orderly fashion, but once in a while I will use my favourite scents for two consecutive days. This always stimulates the excitement to use one scent after an eleven-day absence! Nonetheless, I may reduce it to a more manageable 7-9, soon, if I can.  Biggrin
