Wickham Super Smooth is advertised as a 'soft' soap. My question is just how 'soft' is it supposed to be? I just recieved a tub of Club Cola and it's literally like sticky jelly. I figured maybe it got heated during shipping or when it was sitting in my mailbox so I put it in the fridge for about 8 hours and it firmed up very nicely but the next morning it was back to a jelly like texture. Was hoping some of you that have this soap could chime in and let me know if this is how this soap is supposed to be?

I have one tub of English Rose and it is a very soft cream. Lathers and smells great!

These small batch soaps can vary from batch to batch, in terms of consistency; in my experience.
Performance should be fine.
You may want to consider leaving the soap uncovered for awhile in order to allow for further hardening.

I wouldn't worry about it too much, my club cola was exactly the same way when it arrived. I don't think the performance is affected in anyway since it produces an abundance of lather for me and performs excellent.

Same as the above,

I have used a few of Wickhams soaps and they have all been very soft. It doesn't effect the performance.

Happy shaving!

This has been my experience too.  I had a couple that were more like a cream than a croap.  Nice stuff either way though.

I had the same with Pannacrema and Tiki ´s French Formula, left the tub open until it dried out. The Pannacrema lost 30% weight, the Tiki appeared to be only half the amount it was before.
My main reason for doing it was shelf life

Given how hot it's been outside lately, I wouldn't be shocked if it had melted a bit. As Ravi suggested, if you leave it out it may reconstitute and harden. The vegan soaps like LASSCo are particularly vulnerable to this - I made the dumb mistake of leaving a jar in my car in "pleasant" 75deg heat for several hours and it was almost nectar-consistency when I discovered it later. Left it in a cool dark area uncovered for a day and it went back to its original croap form.
