I've heard of it but don't recall it being missed when it left.

Chris Fisher aka the Fisher King as he is/was known on shavemyface brought this to our attention quite a few years back, probably mid 2000's or earlier.

Great all natural shave preps made on the coast of Norway.  Glad they are up and running again.

I remember people really liking Fitjar and a whole lot of hoarding going on prior to it shutting down shop.

I tried this as a part of a test sample and really liked it. It only seemed available in Europe so I gave up trying to purchase it. If I remember it was very expensive and probably turned off a lot of guys. I followed the link but it led to FC and then what.

Exciting news, indeed! I made a few orders over the past couple of years, sampling a wide range of their products, from Fitjar shaving creams to shampoos to bar soaps; I even ended up purchasing a very descent boar brush and a Boker safety razor from their website with one of my later orders. I was sorry to see them shut down; glad to see them back up. There is something peculiar when ordering from Norway. I suppose that the water has lots to do with it all, but I was very impressed by their products. Welcome back, Fitjar.

The Folgefonn mint scent was quite heavenly, but the performance of the $40+ cream not so........

Wow, I had no idea they were that much. In fact I thought they only made soaps but not creams.
Did you try their soaps, Claus?

I have the Neroli and had the Slateroy shave soaps. Both produced a nice lather for shaving with a straight razor. Neither one burned my face. I would have tried a few other scents but unfortunately they closed.

Good news!

Amazing products, I still have 2 soap pucks and 1 cream jar.

Sure I'll buy more if Jorunn start the business again.

Carlos, yes good news.  I always loved the creams Jorunn Hernes produced from the old Bee My Honey & Shea Pleasure to the newer Villman.  She is wonderful to correspond with and, although pricey, makes some of the best creams on the market.

The shaving community naturally changes and can be quite fickle.  I have seen that in my own use.  What's hot in January may fade by June.  I have noticed Martin de Candre appears to have taken a back seat for some of late and my Mongoose and Stealth Slant are not as active as they once were in the den.

There are though products that have 'held up' as a testament to their quality and performance.  One of those, for me, are the Fitjar soaps and creams for the last 6 or 7 years.

I have two soaps and only sampled a cream, but they are top performers and I'm happy that Fitjar is returning.
