I'm so excited by this huge slab of value soap. I have a few good ones in my den but this has me really excited. Might just be because of how big it is and how cheap it was. I don't think I'll be let down though.

Fist impression is that it is a much more mild scent vs Cella Brick and ABC Crema. That's ok, it's "soapier" but nice enough.

Congratulations ! Got one like this some time ago for myself. It is outstanding! Rich and protective lather, subtle smell, and great slickness. It is now in my top 10 rotation with MDC, ABC, SdM, Boelis 1924, Dusy Kabinett, SV, LPL, and alike.

Enjoy!

There is a magnificent feeling of wealth and well-being when you have a full brick of soap in your hands - like a full box of cigars, there is so much potential....

I couldn't get on with it, but I hope you enjoy it! For me Cella worked better.

That's why I stored 3P, Cella, Valobra, Vitos green and Dusy Kabinett blocks.

I liked it. Used a very wet Semogue IB Boar and loaded in the tub (packed around 180 grams in there) for a minute or so. Needless to say the lather was exploding out of the tubSmile put it to my face and worked it to a nice creamy thick lather. Nice glide, cushion and no drying out. The scent picked up a bit when I put it in the tub as well, that was nice.

It won't replace my SMdF or AdP, but it certainly runs with PAA soaps and has a better post shave than MdC.

Overall, I like it. For the price, I love it. I'll chunk some out for my father-in-law and brother-in-law and still have enough for.......well forever with my other soaps.

I used RR P.160 balm to finish it off and really enjoyed the overall package.

I'm happy.

Brush after my 1st pass. Plenty for 4-5 passes.

This is classic, a quality boar brush and a proven soap in quantity. Lather away!  I already feel relaxed looking at the block and the brush

Sometimes I look at lather shots and think "I'd never shave with that..." Yours I thought, send some of that block my way! Well done and enjoy.

Thanks for the kind words guys. I usually shake my brushes out but saw a Cella video on YouTube where the guy used a soaking wet boar and it was just great. Glad I saw that vid!

It definitely does help loading a ton. At this size/price I have absolutely no problem loading like that.

I recently received around 150 grams of original ABCBA from a group block split a few years back. Decided to lather that like I did the 3p and about 20-25 seconds in I had to stop because it was just way too much latherSmile
