Just wanted to say thanks to anyone and everyone that has recommended this product here at The Shave Nook. I just received it and man o man is it awesome! The face feel and scent are the best I've ever had. I paired this with the new Santa Maria del Fiore Sapone da Barba from RazoRock and I'm speechless.

Is the scent similar or the same to the shave soap? That stuff is insane.

Honestly can't say as I haven't tried the soap. I've heard good things and if the scent is similar or the same as the Balm then yeah it would be insane!

Which balm is it? I have seen a pre/post balm they make, a hydro repairing aftershave,  and a rhubarb aftershave emulsion. I take it your talking about this one.

Nope, it never ends.
Maybe when you use tallow soaps and synthetic brushes...

Very true!

The soap is great- just shaved with it this morning in fact. Slick with a fair amount of cushion and the post shave is remarkable. I also really like the scent!

Don't regularly use balm of any sort myself but received a sample of I Coloniali in a recent order and it seems solid for those that use/like a balm.

i have used numerous I Coloniali shaving products for years and have been universally pleased with their performance. Recently I purchased a
jar of the Mango Oil Shaving Balm and am very happy with the fragrance and post shave performance. There is however one issue I have with the balm.

The balm contains small white gritty circular beads, similar to what one might find in a facial scrub type product, that are not absorbed into the skin. They remain visibe on the skin surface after the remainder of the balm has been absorbed and must be individually removed from the skin. I don't know if this is a unique characteric of this product or if I have a tub that is somehow defective. Input on this issue from others who are more familiar with this particular product would be appreciated.

Then you either have an old product or a product that was subjected to extreme heat or cold.  The Mango Balm does not have beads in it.
