So I built this little razor case and would love some honest feedback. I know it needs to be stained I just wanted to see if the foam fitting I created was gonna work (it was the hardest part and a real pain). Hopefully it'll get easier with time. The placement of the razor and the blade holder could be farther apart, but all in all I'm happy for the first go. Don't be scared to tell me what you really think and how I could make the next one better. Thanks![Image: XiECitK.jpg][Image: qrvHE01.jpg]

Looks good honestly. Only stain if YOU want it that way!

Looks good,I also agree with not staining it unless its something you want to do. Looks good to me.

Looks good to me.  Maybe use box joints instead of mitered  corners, though maybe it's not deep enough for box joints.

the box is deeper than it looks there's a good 3/4''+ layer of padding underneath it all

Very solid work and looks good! I agree with the others in leaving it unstained as I looks like it will develop a lot of character over time.

The one thing I noticed is that the lid doesn't seem to be padded (on the inside). That would complete the package IMHO but of course add a lot of work.

Regardless, very well done!

Finger joints could work then.  Time to make a jig!

You done good! A very good effort and a good finish. A clear finish on the edges would offset the red felt very well!
