I received a $100 gift card to amazon. I know there is not much quality with there selection. How would you kill it for you first straight razor, I'm interested in SR shaves. Please help.

I don't know that Amazon is the best place to be getting straight razors; my suggestion would be to use the gift card for something else, and look into one of the many quality wet shaving vendors that offer sales/service of straight razors.

I think the only one I even saw on amazon was a boker king cutter ,unless you wanted an artist club. Found a dovo as well. I got a gift card myself I'll look around and report back

They have some dovos and bokers I think $120 is about average price you might haft to do some scrolling but I just saw them

I would inquire regarding the edge preparation. Some razors are advertised "shave ready" which can be misleading. You may have to send the razor to have it properly honed once you receive it. Thats not a huge deal and there are some great services available. I recently had some work done from Noah @ Shave Ready and the edges are very nice. http://www.shaveready.net/products The other option as mentioned above would be to use a shaving vendor. An example would be The Superior Shave http://thesuperiorshave.com/ the razors all come properly prepared to get you shaving right out of the box.
