What's your current favorite shaving creams ?

I prefer soaps and even better a Super Lather these days, but still occasionally use only a cream.

My current top picks are - you can include croaps, but not soft soaps, like for instance Caties bubbles:

BAUME.BE - great performer, thick yellow protective cream. Scent is a bit mild.

Acqua di Parma Colonia - more like a croap, but an awesome performer, and wonderful scent.
Acqua di Parma New version - more like a true cream - very silent fresh scent. Spectacular performer

Xpec Original new version - probably the best of them all. Slick, protective great cream
Xpec Unscented old version - only real neutral cream left in my den, because it just performs so darn well.

Floris 89 - a fantastic smelling fastastic performing cream. Top level cream.

Castle Forbes Lavender - very nice lavender, really great performance. Not the slickest, but still protective and a great stable lather.

Castle Forbes Lime - not so good a performer on my skin as the Levender, but the lime scent is amazing.

St. James - own all 5 scents. A tony bit better than the 3 T's and DR Harris. Great price too. Wonderful presentation.

O Melhor - perhaps the best tube of cream after the Floris 89.

Musgo Real - own all 6 scents, what can I say: PERFECTION for me.

Santa Maria Novella old version - so much better than Proraso for me, but some claims it's the same as the old Omega cream...may be true, but still a fantastic croap.
Still need to get my hands on the new version of SMN

Speick cream - perhaps the best value cream you can get, if you dig the scent. Great performer on my skin. Could cost the triple in price and still be a bargain.

I Coloniali cream - weird scent, awesome performer. This is the softer tube version. The soap is great too, but not for this thread.

Alveraz Gomez barberia - great great lather and excellent scent. Awesome product

Alvarez Gomez is the sole cream remaining in my den. I have tried several others that were really excellent, but I truly prefer soap and AG's combination of scent and performance make it stand above all else. I could easily recommend Simpson's, T&H, CF, and several more for those that prefer creams.

Tabac SC and The Body Shop Maca Root SC, I get great lathers & shaves from both.  I don't have a preference soap or SC as long as it performs to my liking.

The only one I have used is Kiss My Face as I just prefer soaps, vastly more. Maybe, I should try Baume.be as it seems to have the most intriguing ingredients for me.   Smile

I had a very nice shave using the Modial Axolute cream last week. I really don't like creams but enjoyed using this and also like Edwin Jagger Sea Buckthorn and Aloe Vera.

I do not use a lot of creams. I have TOBS, StJames, Baume.be, Vulfix and Cyril Salter creams. The Vulfix and Salter creams are outright amazing in their scents.
Forgot about all the tubes of cream. The Proraso blue is really a good one. However...
The Baume.be is preferred as it is so easy on the skin. Performance is good, not as slick and cushiony as other soaps, but good enough

I don't use  lot of creams but of the ones I have and in no particular order:

Musgo Real, Speick, Proraso Blue, The Body Shop's Maca Root and CF Lavender. Don't know if I'd buy the CF again because of the price to performance ratio compared to the others.

Baume.be, Alvarez Gomez, XPEC Original, Acqua di Parma.
Each of these performs beautifully, so I can't pick an absolute favorite.

I like all of the TOBS shaving creams, particularly the Rose and Lavender.  I also like the Real Shaving Company shaving creams and The Body Shop Maca Root shaving cream.  I don't often use shaving soap.
