I was just pondering the same question.  I will be in Quebec City for a few weeks this summer and would also like to know of recommendations anyone has to offer.

So Bruce I don't follow, are you suggesting that the brown gravy from a poutine makes great lather or what.....
Haha! I'll definitely have to indulge in a poutine while I'm there at least once. However I plan on eating more than a few crepes while visiting Quebec City!

It looks like there are lots in Montreal, but not much in Quebec City.  I lived in Ottawa as a kid and remember riding my BMX over to Hull.

Eggs cooked in maple syrup.  And a cocktail: combine a shot of maple syrup, a shot of Canadian whisky and lemon juice.  You have to try a Québécois sugar pie and a tourtière.  Don't forget pea soup and baked beans.  Can't shave with any of them, but they would go well with a shave.

Johnny, you nailed it.  The GQ stubble is very cool in Quebec, but the food and drink is the highlight. EH.

I would be forced to stop here and try their Cassis.

http://www.quebecregion.com/en/regional-...na-filles/

Like the other suggestions it has nothing to do directly with shaving but a glass during my late night shave would be nice.
