From no horn to two horns in two daysSmile gotta say, I'm loving the Plisson. I have a TGC w/Plisson knot and had a L'Occitane Plisson, so I knew I would get along with it. The added heft of the handle is a welcome addition. Happy I ordered that, and it came really fast from France to the U.S.!

Very nice, does horn require extra or special care?

It's not horn, it's faux/fake horn, plastic resin horn.

I don't see the reason to sort of put them down as "fake", twice now.

Beautiful brushes and maintenance free!

@RVshave yes, horn requires special care in shaving brushes but I'm not exactly sure how often and what procedure is needed.

Enjoy.

Sorry, did not mean to put them down.
You misinterpret what fake means, my friend !

They are both beautiful faux/fake horn handles. Faux means fake in French.
For some reason an English speaking person think faux horn is the accepted term, while if one is calling them fake horn a red light shows and people misinterpret it totally !

Resin plastic fake handle finish can look astoundingly great. The fake horn Plisson is a beautiful looking handle.

But it's imitated horn, fake horn or faux horn none the less :-)

I own several fake horn handled brushed and they look great !!

Not fake, they are from the nearly extinct plastic buffalo of Canada. Doubt any of us will be fortunate enough to see one, but I assure you they are out there.......
