Looks like a nice handle and stand for the price, however, I can't seem to find many opinions out there on it.

Does anyone here have experience with this product? Is the grip ok?

I'd be primarily using it with my Muhle R41 head (and someday a slant head if I can ever find one for sale)...

Thanks!

Well, I own one.  I actually own the whole setup.  It is a nice handle, heavy and stable.  As a Prototype it has some sharp edges, but nothing to worry about.

The stand is also nice and heavy as well.

The grip is very secure and it won't be slipping from your hands, even with soap all over them. The aluminum version is just as nice, but much lighter.

It is my favourite handle. I have no custom handles, just two Ikon stainless and a number of ordinary razor handles.

However, the horizontal grooves provide excellent grip, and the smooth part do not numb my fingers as jimping does.
I´d say get this before you get anything else- if you want the weight of a stainless handle.

It is my best handle for the Muehle R89 and R41 heads, I have mentioned it here before.  Again, anybody who owns particular razor handles should have these in his arsenal.  I only wish the aluminium version would be available on a regular basis.

I have the Razorock slab with the Ikon bamboo handle. Great razor. Interchange the handle with my Ikon 102.

Is there an option to buy the stand by itself?
