I was just rereading some older posts on fads, the latest soap which I am  very enthusiastic about and then went Bullgoose window shopping to plot my next, far to infrequent purchase. I realized there are items I've always intended to acquire, but for  some rational didn't. I am a fan of MWF. I haven't bought any recently because, for me it's a cold and wet weather  soap and we've been in  prolonged drought. I remember buying 2-3 pucks from Phil. I was lusting for the ceramic dish with the lid logo. It would match my ivory colour theme and my Downton Abbey closet reenactor bit of silliness. I think I rationalized for the dish I could instead double my puck  supply. I eventually acquired an old Anchor hocking ivory coffeecup as mug. Another poster on another website warned me off: said he hated the klinking of brush and going deep to use the last of the soap.
Now, I am down to that last bit of soap and hate the klinking and reaching deep. So, I am what; 8 odd years into this ( where has the time gone!) and I am determined to buy that damned ceramic dish and MWF in spite of our June gloom without aberration next order.
So, for all you acquisition disorder sufferers; what has escaped your pocketbook?

98% of the blades available
Any soap over $40 before shipping
Most "high end" SS razors
Simpson brushes
A number of other high end brushes

Figured that's a good starting point. My list goes on.

Jaja. Someone like me. I hate the klinking noise too and I ordered MWF last week. I'm already regretting that I purchased only the puck.  As for your question, my item is I Coloniali cream/soap. I constantly have it in my cart and I end ? deleting it. I don't know why.

Guess I'm lucky as my list is pretty short:

- Simpson M7 in Manchurian
- More Jabonman soap
- Czech & Speake Anodized Dish

Similarly, I always intended to get the swanky Tabac milk jar. Originally, I purchased just a refill puck thinking I would wait until I finished that before committing to the jar. Well, it's been two years and I still have 2/3 of the puck remaining.

MWF is magically different in the summer and dry weather? I'm confused why you would only use it in those conditions. I can understand not using a drying soap in the winter such as MdC but MWF is good 365 days a year.

Fram, I briefly pushed mules down the Grand Canyon and worked  a few ranches dealing with horses, goats, sheep, one  American Bison named Kevin Costner and a small herd of Longhorn cattle. Managing livestock you tend to exchange body odours, sweat and oils along with flies, various ointments like bag balm for injuries and a fine patina of dust. It's probably psychosomatic, but warm weather still gives me an aversion to Lanolin.

My list was a lot longer but my wife hooked me up for my birthday. She asked me to make a list of anything shave related and she would pick at random for my gift. She bought everything on the list, plus a few other things because of the reviews. Biggrin I guess I'll keep her after all.

A slant. I've been perfectly happy with the iKon DLC OC I got off a b/s/t that I never got around to trying a slant. Maybe I'll try a 37C if I can get a good price on it, or the 102 when it gets restocked.

Down the road I'd love to add a Simpsons M7 and/or E3. An iKon Shavecraft 101 is looking pretty sweet to me right now. All in due time  Biggrin

There are only two items on my list that are a "Must Have" to close my circle.

1. BBS razor

2. Wolfman razor

Wolfman is should be coming soon.  BBS on the waiting list.  Once I get these two, I'll be a 105% happy shaver Wink

I had not purchased Xpec Until I got the email from Phil yesterday with a 20% off coupon for Xpec products [Xpec at checkout]. Been reading the hype forever and will now get to check another one of the shaving Titans off the list to try.

Have never purchased MdC either!
