Shaun,
Superb haul, sir, I'm not jealous in the slightest! You must be well chuffed, the Aristocrat is superb (you know that), that alone would be an ace find, the others round it off. As a matter of interest, where did you find them?

Regards,
Chris

Whoa!  Excellent find Shaun, congratulations!  The 66 is a great shaver. I'm think all Made in England Gillette's are of superb quality.  One of my favorites in my collection.

Enjoy it!

Hi Chris, I found them as part of a larger haul a friend had made.  I had to leave behind a few rockets, ball-ends, fat handles, 3 Fat Boys, 2 Slims.... I'd have bought them all, but it would have been really and truly excessive but I have priced and ticketed them all for him so he can sell them on. He had bought the lot that also included some fine straights too.

I live in Sydney. If there are any Aussies here, they can contact me if they want to contact him. He doesn't post, sorry.

Shaun,
Congratulations on your good fortune. Shame your friend doesn't post, most of the items in that list that are on my radar but that's probably saved me a fortune.

I'll just keep cruising the flea markets and antique shops, there's always hope.

Cheers,
Chris

I'm using it this week. Beautiful shave; comparable to the HD 500 IMO, but using it makes me feel like royalty. Kingly, to be clear, but YMMV Smile

great haul. There is nothing more challenging than having to sort through and not be able to take all you want.

Oh believe me I'm tempted to go back. Crazy. Wet shaving  hasn't really gained a lot of popularity in Australia yet. Apart from my brother I don't know anyone personally who wet shaves. Well one guy, but I gave him a Slim and some blades and soaps. He has kids and needed the savings, but he liked the shaves he gets. I suppose I could go and get them all and sell them on but postage to the USA is outrageous and wouldn't make it worth it. I don't think. There is also a 1930 Regent New with case, complete. case is a bit gone with the hinge a bit dodgy. It's like this one, but not as good:
