I consider getting the brown one, because it's beautiful IMHO

My guess is that either Vulfix/Simpson, Lee Sabini or Rooney makes these.
I base that on the look of the 3-band knot.

I may very well be wrong, I'm merely guessing  Biggrin

No specs, but I guess it could be the size of either a Polo 8 or Polo 10 handle and knot,,,,,,,

You got to admit the brown one is beautiful  Number_one

Claus...I asked around about the same brush...no answers.  Seems a big mystery but I agree the brush is beautiful.

I've suspected that these were made by Mondial, or by the same manufacturer that makes Mondial brushes, but I have zero evidence.  I wonder if Juan from Gifts & Care might be able to shed some light on this for us?

My thoughts as well relating to Mondial.

Do Mondial make their own brushes ??

I suspect not, so either Vulfix/Simpson, Rooney or Lee Sabini could be involded..........

Agreed.  I doubt Mondial makes anything, and suspect it's just a brand name for marketing.

I saw these Acca Kappa brushes recently also, and wondered the same.

The midsection lip looks nothing like Vulfix or Lee's also the base is a bit different. I'm guessing it's a different source than those mentioned. To explain the midsection of both Vulfix and Lee's brushes have a pronounced edge to the lip whereas these brushes have a smoother edge. The base on the Vulfix brushes have a flatter face to them these brushes seem to have a smoother shorter base. My eyes may see things differently than anyone else but this is just my thoughts.

The last Polo/Urn I saw from Lee didn't even look like a M&F, so who knows.

But if I had to guess, Lee isn't making them for AK

Maybe this is a wild idea , but could it be that these brushes (and the Mondial ones) are being made by Omega ?...

I did read in the Fendrihan site that these brushes are 'made in Italy'.

How are the knot characteristics, Raj?
Softness, density, backbone?

As said I'm just guessing.
Perhaps Acca Kappa wanted a unique, yet still Polo like handle design.
Perhaps it's really made in Italy.
Perhaps they get the knot from Lee, Rooney or Vulfix/Simpson and the turned handle somewhere else from, then put it together at the production facility in Italy.

We may never know - but I just had Juan put this aside for me in brown. And I have owned/still own several brushes from Rooney, Simpson and Lee Sabini. So I should be able to make an educated guess. Still just a guess though ;-)

Excellent Claus, I would love to see a non stock photo next to other manufactures. I also have seen beauty in these for a while now. For what ever reason I have yet to order one.
