Can anyone tell me about this aftershave? I'm interested in the splash only. What's the scent like and how much alcohol is actually in it? I like alcohol in my aftershaves and I'm worried the content will be to small.

I love the Dr Harris Pink A/S! It's very mild and does not sting. It does NOT contain alcohol, but it does sooth the skin, adds a touch of moisture, tones, reduces irritation and cools razor burn.

Their website (Harris pink AS) says very low alcohol content, so I guess there is a little. If I'm in Town this weekend I'll find out (like I NEEDED an excuse to pop in). I think I'll be picking up some for myself anyway. The Arlington has some alcohol, but is not over-whelming, and leaves my skin in a really nice condition (considering it reacts really badly to a lot of products).

The Pink does have some alcohol, (I've read 17%) but much less than the Arlington or Marlborough splashes I also use.

I love the scent of the Pink, and it feels very soothing on my face, but the scent is gone in literally 15 minutes. or less.
An over priced, glorified toner in my book, as opposed to other DRH AS which I like very much. YMMV

Persius, you are correct. I just checked the ingredients list and there is an alcohol content. However, it certainly doesn't feel like there's any upon application...

That's exactly how it felt for me when I had a tester - AS for beginners!

This is my "go to" aftershave in the Spring and Summer. It does have very mild alcohol content but is very soothing and not drying. It only comes in a splash bottle in I believe 3 sizes. The scent is (or I should say WAS) a light rose. However, I have heard that it has been reformulated and is more of a light floral/lilac scent. Jim over at Vintage Blades still has some of the older bottles left, so shoot him an email if you are interested. It's a great product and doesn't linger.

I would call it a light floral.

Pink is great for those who don't like the burn..Doesn't clash with anything else you want to use that day....

Best,
Julian

Just got me some Pink - only 1 try so far but I like it a lot. I usually don't use AS much and I like this better than the other after shaves I've used probably because Pink has little alcohol. Face felt great so I will continue to use it!

It's one of my favorites aftershaves when i'm not in the mood for the sting of Pinaud Clubman or Floid. It feels fresh and the scent, although not long lasting, is great.

I'm curious. Does the scent go away to you and to other people as well? Or just to you? I'm asking because many times, the scent of my favorite perfume, seems like it goes away in about the same amount of time, 15 minutes, but then inevitably, someone will compliment me much later on that I smell good. That's always nice to hear.Shy

I know that others notice the Clubman original or special reserve even after i don't smell it anymore. I'm not sure about the pink.

That's a good question - I've not gotten any feedback from "other people" Huh so I'm not sure. My guess is that it fades quickly though so others wouldn't detect it. To me it fades more quickly than Clubman, for instance, or than Floid amber. To me it has great healing properties, though! I like Pink Wink

IMO the Pink fades much more quickly than my other after shaves.

I mix it with GFT Coral skin food which again has a very light sent, but good skin care qualities.
