Okay....There is no review of the Wet Shaving Products shaving soaps and no threads that answer the questions that I have.  Has anybody used the WSP shaving soaps and if so, how easy do they lather?  Also, how weak or strong are the scent?  How's the lubricity.....in other words, how slick is itHow does it stack up against other well known soaps?  Thanks in advance for your help in answering this questions.

I have five of their soaps.
They are tallow based, strong scents, slick, easy to lather and good post shave feelings.
WSP soaps are above average but not unique.
And they are quite low profile in promoting their soaps.

I too have 5 of the soaps. I now use one of them 4-5 nights a week, so most of the time. I agree with comments above, slick and easy to lather.

I think there might be a FB special going on, buy 3 get one free.

I agree with most of this. However, they are not tallow. They are vegan & in fact were designed on the same type of ingredient profile as MdC.

They perform great with fairly strong but not overpowering scents. Post shave care isn't great (neither is MdC's) but that's what your AS is for IMHO.

Hey Brian- thanks for the education! Learned something both new and interesting today re: the MdC profile. And added another to my list of "should try" soaps.

I got a few sample containers on Ebay. They are great. I love them. Great scents too.

I had 4 different scent of theirs when it first released. Great product easy to lather post shave not that great but not terrible. Scents were very nice and strong. Ended up selling them off but still a nice soap at a great price.

The Mahogany arrived and I used it today- solid performer and I really enjoy the scent as well. Complex but balanced and not overpowering. Thanks for the recommendation both Brian, Bob and VJ.

Look forward to your thoughts Primo- the lather quality and post shave feel of Mahogany was quite good (this was my first WSP soap to try).

Just took possession of my WSP Gaelic Tweed.

The tin was smallish, as I expected. The soap is filled right to the top.

Right away, the scent is powerful. Yes, powerful.

I grabbed my CH2 Synthetic and did a test lather. Excellent and abundant. I will slightly reduce my load time for tomorrow's shave  Rolleyes .

Part of me has a foreboding feeling. I have a fear of irritation a.k.a. Firedevil      We'll see.

Hope that it works out Primo. I have not seen much online about Blackbeard and enjoy Mahogany so much that I ordered a tin last night. Will post thoughts on receipt and look forward to your SOTD tomorrow in the meantime. Was the scent in line with what you were looking for?

The scent profile is very strong. It tends more towards Irish Spring than Green Irish Tweed. More tomorrow.
