[Image: WSYpZ6g.jpg]I would like to start off my first saying both of these brushes are astonishing.  I would hop on the chance to buy any paladin two band that presents itself on BST.  Most definitely! The chief jade I was fortunate to obtain because a member had offered it to me.  I would like that member to know I appreciate their kindness in letting this absolutely stunning piece go.

I  would also like to state that I have tried every major brush manufacturer including high end LE brushes.  Nothing.  And I mean nothing, compared to this paladin handle.  Smile

I love the Plisson.  However, I am most definitely finding out I enjoy two band knots more.

Anyways, here are my two new brushes!

Thanks TSN for making this a hobby I can pursue!

Nice catch on the Plisson. I still don't own a nice one, but it's on my list.

The handle on yours appears to have been turned from the same acetate that was used in making the M&F Group Buy Chiefs.  It comes in sheets rather than round rod. Really nice stuff! Also used for Gucci sunglasses, I think.

I love the brush so much.  I tried to PM you about a tortoise chief as well but sadly your inbox is full. Keep me in mind!

Congrats Michael!  Thanks for the picture.

I have a good idea already but, If I may ask, what makes you like the 2 band Paladin much more than that Plisson you have pictured?

Edit: I see Teiste read my mind...

The two band badger has a more robust knot.  In addition it is not as floppy, as we would expect for most 3 bands. I plan on trading my plisson for a paladin two band once I reach my post limit for BST.

FWIW, I think this is probably your brush. Each photo we take is like a fingerprint. We're thinking about serializing the handles we make, or at least some of them. But with most we really don't have to.

Point is: every brush is unique.

It sure has the same markings!  Thanks for sharing.  If you ever decide you want to try Plisson HMW tortoise 12, let me know!  I would be 100% satisfied trading for a paladin two band or even buying another outright.

Be well!

No doubt about it. The knot matches too.
