I have been searching for a nice custom handle since all of the ones I know of have waiting lists or no lists at all. I stumbled across Bob's Razor Works and wanted to see if anyone has bought from him before. He has some beautiful handles, all custom by him using brass, nickel plated brass, and exotic wood. He makes brushes too, mostly silvertip with fancy wooden handles. I already sent him an email on a razor handle I am interested in, just need the specs on it first. The heads are all open comb and look nice. Razor handles are mostly $40 to $45 and heads are $30. He takes custom design orders too and has a turnaround time of 2 weeks. Anyway, I just want to see if anyone has bought from him before.

That's sad to hear. Well, it looks like he designed some remarkable razors and brushes while he was living. Maybe I can pick up a used one some day.

Bob was an unbelievable artisan, and a few people are fortunate enough to have some of his work, but they come up only very rarely for sale on the forums, and usually don't last long.

Yeah I don't suppose many people would want to sell them now that he has passed.

If you are interested in seeing some of Bob's past work, his albums are still available: https://picasaweb.google.com/Bobsrazors

My favorite handle of his (I do not own this handle, but I wish I did).
