My first slant razor is ATT S1.
Tried it first time tonight.
WTG two passes then using mild razor for XTG.
Got BBS without irritation.
It's mild but very efficient.

Yes, it's expensive so I was hesitated to but one.
Until recently I've got a chance to buy second handed S1 S2 plate plus RR handle at once for 175USD.

I cycled through 5 ATT plates.  I should have kept the S1.  It's great on the neck, but I never could get a good shave on the chin or anywhere else that wasn't fairly flat.  Still, overall it's the best ATT plate IMO.

Congrats! The ATT S1 is my favourite DE razor...gives me the closest BBS shaves and zero irritation.

Good shaver. Almost doesn't feel like a slant, but very efficient.

Glad everyone enjoying slants. I think they are among the best shavers and constantly surprise by giving very close and good shaves without irritation and most are easy to learn how to use. I have quite a few of them, 84 at last count, and can't think of one I don't like. Two of my favorites are the Krect and Mulcuto. Mulcuto was the model for the original Ikon slant.

Wow!  That's an impressive collection!   I didn't even know that many slants existed!

How do you tell if you have the old ATT slant top plate vs. the new one?

I did and it came out beautifully. Actually have this and the replated one. Unfortunately it is Zamak and most won't attempt to replate it. I will have to dig it out of the collection to show that it can be done. Unfortunately  I think the plater is out of business or is not plating anymore. People have lost some razors.

Delta Echo does some amazing work....
