Well, my medical neglect is causing me to start selling off my straight razors.  Going in for surgery on Friday, July 31st to have a piece of meat removed from my left arm about the size of a bottle Alt Innsbruck.  Doctor  said this will involve some muscle tissue and I will more than likely loose some of the dexterity in my left hand.  And guess what, I'm left handed.  I've got 4 REALLY NICE straights that I am going to start selling one at a time.

First one up for sale is my recently purchased Thiers-Issard 5/8 Razor with faux tortoise scales.  This presents as new in original box and is more than shave ready.

Price includes Priority Shipping in the USA.  If in Canada, add $7.50 to the cost.  Will ship to Europe for actual shipping cost.

$195.00

PM if interested.

Bummer Johnny! Sorry to hear. I am also very heavy left handed so I can understand you. Best of luck with the upcoming surgery. You have very nice straights but if we look at the bright side you have more spare time for the great PILS!

Good luck on your surgery and a quick recovery.  Just had my left hand operated on and the straight razors will be still for awhile.

Johnny, my friend, good luck to you. We're both battling age, you with your shoulder and I with the arthritis in my hands. Oh, we're a fine pair.

Sorry to hear about the surgery. I hope all goes well.

Johnny, why not wait and see what happens? I've proven the Dr's wrong more than once and you might too. You can always sell stuff that you can't use, right? If I had listened to my Dr and therapist 20 years ago, and did what the therapist told me, I'd be crippled in my right hand today. But I did what my body told me that I could do and today I have 95% use of it and even use chainsaws and such with no arthritis that I can feel in it and I was told that I'd definitely have trauma arthritis. Maybe someday I will, but not today.

I wish you luck with the sale, but while I have the use of my right hand I wouldn't trust myself with a straight razor.
