Great looking handle Hector.  Looking forward to your thoughts on how the brush performs, particularly whether it has a noticeable glue bump and whether it splays sufficiently.  It would definitely be nice to add this to my Thater and Shavemac octagonal handles.

I'm really liking the Scanlon, the butterscotch is amazing and a welcome addition to the den.

Thanks again Phil for bringing this brush onto the market!

I'm enjoying mine.  It's a touch springy but it does have plenty of backbone combined with very soft tips.  I'm a head shaver and this brush feels a lot bigger than it looks.

Any more feedback on this brush?  Are the fibers similar to the Muhle/EJ?

I love the octagon handle and would like a synthetic for travel besides my Plisson.  But I'm worried the short loft would make the brush too dense and stiff with the synthetic fibers.

I had a Rudy Vey custom brush with a Muhle 25mm knot set to 55mm loft.  It lathered up well but was so stiff you had to really press down to splay it out, so I moved on.

If you did not like the Muhle 25mm set to a 55mm loft because it didn't splay enough, you will probably not like these brushes.  These are set to a low loft and splay less than the Muhle.
