For those who imagine MdC is making a profit on shipping I'll share the following pictures from today's delivery
This is the outer carton for my item with the inner box there on top.

Here's the size of the item:

$20 eur for registered delivery from France for a box that size? Cheap. I could fit 4 pairs of women's shoes in that outer box.
Cheers,
Ray

Ray,
Just received the same package and took a picture because I couldn't believe how big the box was for a little jar of soap. Also, nearly threw away the peanuts before finding a small bar of Fougere soap they threw in as an extra.
On another topic, my wife and I LOVE that table you have the box on. I'll trade you my vintage Kirby razor and a custom brush straight up for it. What do you say?

Seriously, that' a beautiful table. It reminds me of one my bride and I saw around 15 years ago in an antique shop in one of the smaller towns near our own small town. It was 800 dollars which at the time we just could have barely afforded...actually, not afforded at all, but could have paid for it. We didn't buy it and I've regretted it ever since.
Enjoy the soap. Had my first shave with it yesterday and though I can't imagine ever loving lavender, it's an extraordinary performer and the first soap I've used where I didn't even bother with a post shave treatment.

Got the same box in this week, after ordering last friday, so that was pretty quick. Got the Fougere sample soaps too. I think they use one size box unless you really order much more. A great service and their packing sure sets a standard.
Still have to try the soaps though.
I agree on the table, Ray!
Bye,
Eric

Don't throw away the second sample! Check the packaging.
I got the fougere and Tula or whatever it is. Both are in my shave cabinet scenting it up even through the tissue paper. Smells exactly like the MdC shave soap. I like it and the wife has mentioned a number of times that she likes it too.
The next order will probably be larger.
OK, so anyone who reads French, what does Fougere and Tula mean in English?
TIA.
