I've tried a lot of different products. But I can't believe the names of some of the products I've never tried.
Arko (descriptions of the scent)
Cella (another boring almond scent, do I really?)
MWF (lanolin allergy)

Can you believe it? Of all things, you might think those were the 3 first things I've tried ever, but you can see why in the parentheses.

What's your list? Anyone else have a list like that?

Like you, I have never tried Arko, Cella or MWF. I doubt I ever will because they do not interest me in the least bit. Something I would love to try but still have not, is ADP.

I still have never used Williams. 5 years wet shaving. Or Van Der Hagen.

+1 to all of these, with the addition of MDC for me.

All the comments of the soap being drying combined with the ingredient list has kept me away.

Pretty much my list (minus the Proraso and Pre de Provence)and add the ones below.  Little over 3 years wet-shaving, there have been so many great Artisan products come out here in the US and Europe, that I haven't felt the need to try any of these.

Arko
Williams
Trumpers
D.R. Harris
Castle Forbes
Tabac
MWF

Thanks for the suggestion, Ravi, but it isn't going to happen! I have tried enough commercial soaps that I much prefer most of the artisanal ones for their simplistic ingredients and excellent performance. Furthermore, I seem to be, unashamedly, addicted to many of Michelle's scents!  Shy

It has been 4 years for me and I completely concur with you, David! Of course, this is all subjective and YMMV, but I am completely satisfied with my decision.   Biggrin

All due respect Celestino, but with a not-tried list like yours, it's no wonder you do not prefer commercial soaps.

its a long list for me so I will just list the ones I really want to try but haven't and in order of priority. I'm not interested in commercial soaps other than the one listed below at number 5. However, I do like TOBS shave cream.

1. Soap Commander (have the AS and love it)
2. Reef Point Soaps (really a tie with SC)
3. Mystic Waters
4. CRSW prefer (prefer a plastic tub so might be a while)
5. Pre de Provence

What commercial soaps have you tried?

I just prefer soaps with the most simple and natural ingredients and that is why I avoid most commercial soaps.

I have tried quite a few commmercial ones:  Cella, P. 160, C&S, Arko, C.O. Bigelow, Dr. Harris, Musgo Real, MWF, Tabac, O Melhor, TOBS, and AoS. I may have missed a few, though, because it has been quite a few years.

Gotcha!!! Well if you have your winning formula, why change?
I told you before I admire your dedication!
I guess I just need to give MW a try. I have the Viola di Bosco but to be honest I am not a big fan of the scent. But there are plenty other scents she offers that sound very interesting so I just need to get some samples, not sure what I'm waiting for, really!

SMN is another cream I would like to try.

I haven't tried Xpec yet, but I have no desire to try it to be honest.

You won't regret it Matt, once you have your technique dialed in it is almost impossible to beat the lather MW produces.
