Floid Blue production is halted at this time, according to my sources.

Floid Blue is currently not in production. Whether they eventually resume production or not is the $1,000,000 question.

It is good and I'm glad I still have 3/4 of the huge bottle, but I won't go out of my way to stock up.

There is other stuff on the market that is just as good and just as cheap....but they lack the history and prestige of Floid Blue.

It wasn't the be all, end all, to Aftershaves for me.

Not being privy to how good is was (or wasn't) I'd be happy to receive recommendations for a replacement. Ideally one that you can get in the UK

I find Proraso just as good, Floid Genuine and even RazoRock Baby Blue. All are large 400ml glass bottles too.

Just my limited experience. Again, it was a good AS but I won't loose any sleep or time over it being discontinued.

I'd bet it is still going to be made somewhere and still available or they'll bring it back....again. It may be one of these scenarios like the Palmolive stick not being sold to certain markets and not available in others.

I received an e-mail response from Gifts&Care yesterday (after I inquired about an erroneous stock notification e-mail) that it seems to have been discontinued.

Yep, it happened a while ago.  All prices have gone up correspondingly.  I think I saw it on A'zon or the Bay for something like $70 a bottle.

I would imagine the case. Stimulate demand, the ultimate "limited edition" we have been here before! I like Floid Blue a great deal and have a relatively fresh 400ml bottle so won't rush to pack away more. In the meantime, I do hope it returns but if not will move on to other options.

This happened several years ago with Floid Blue.  All us Chickens Little bought a bunch of bottles to stash away, and somehow after the profits were taken the a/s reappeared.  I've enough to survive this time ..

I won't stock up again, if it goes away it's a shame as its top shelf in my book.

The Spanish Williams Aqua Velva is every bit as good, if not a little better feel and a better scent -- better than even the North American Aqua Velva.  It's first class at a great price.

Where would you procure the Spanish Williams Aqua Velva?

Well, I did not see this coming at all.  If I had, I would of bought several.  It is my all time favorite aftershave and as for as I am concerned there is no substitute, no matter how you color it.

I have one bottle about 90% full and that's it.  Angry
