Hey all, today I recieved my second re scale from a chap called Rob who is here in the UK. I don't know his full name but he is known on the main British Forum as UKRob. Rob did a re scale of a Kropp I had a little while back, in fact it didn't have scales. It was such a piece of work I had him re scale my Wade and Butcher. The W&B had already been rescaled before I purchased it and the scales were nice but slightly out of line so the blade caught the inside, it was also quite boring in my opinion. Rob also does some of the best honing I have come across. Pictures for you.

Oli, they both look great, if you don't mind me asking, how much roughly was charged? I have a very very old Wade and Butcher that I couldn't sell earlier this year (not on TSN as im a newbie still) anyway thinking to keep it and would be more likely too after a good re scale.

Some lovely razors & scales! Great job!

What materials were used for the scales?  The W&B looks like Micarta.

The Kropp is done in G10 toxic Green, I brought the materials for this but the the price of the razor (I brought it from Rob), making of the scales and a hone was £30.

The Wade and Butcher is done in Blue Micarta and with a re scale, the materials and a hone it cost me £55.

In my opinion seeing the work that Rob has done and how good it is I would go to Rob again and again.

The Kropp is a terrific razor, and for the price I made for nearly mint condition it's incredible!
