Hello Everyone...

I am on a few other shaving forums, long time lurker and first time poster. I was invited here by Bruce and Gary and see many familiar faces, including my twin brother Ken (Bluesbishop), who apparently just joined this morning.

I Returned back to Classic Wet Shaving in December after nearly a 30 year hiatus. I have gone through my share of both DE and SE razors in that time frame, trying everything from an Old Type to all three production versions of the R41.

My favorite DE's are the FaTip, a Tech Head on an iKon Handle, the EJ89L, and the Merkur 1904 OC paired to a variety of handles, including some of those by Sabi, which really makes a nice handle for the price (I toss the heads).

I have a lot of love for SE's, so much so that I started LOSER (Lover of Single Edge Razors) on another saving firum. The Damaskeene and other 1912 variants are my favorites with the G-Bar and 1914 getting a favorable nod.

I am not one into hyped razors, have tried most and sadly have been disappointed with each over priced purchase I have made.

Looking forward to talking to you all.

Hi ya Arley. Welcome from another lover of SEs. Though I prefer the OCMM and the Valet VC1 to the HFT and 1912s. It's great to have you in the Nook!

Arley, it is a good thing you showed up here. Now I need to see if I can find your brother. He must be around here somewhere!

Welcome aboard The Shave Nook.

Or as some of us say, Brush Central!
