I've seen this posted as both an aggressive and mild SE. Any consensus on this or just YMMV? If it falls to the mild side then I'll wait patiently for a good one to show up on eBay. I'm curious about certain SE's now that I'm starting to revisit injectors after some time away.

Mildest SE I've ever used-- Yes, I've used the Push Button and Feather Weight. Least amount of blade exposure of any SE I've used as well. I only get a good shave out of one using carbon blades.

YMMV. I find it more aggressive than the G-Bar but less than the 1912, clog pruf.

I also found it quite mild, but that was comparing it to the OCMM.

Thanks, gents. Sounds like it's worth a shot. I'll keep a lookout for one.

I have used both the G bar and clog pruf. Find the first too mild and the later too aggressive. Based on what you are saying a bullet tip would be great for me!

It's on the milder side but very usable. It's my favorite razor and always yields fantastic results.

A nice one showed up just after my last post here so I grabbed it. Funny how these things go: I take one small break from brushes and get inundated with razors. Thanks for the advice.

It's the least aggressive of the 3 Micromatics.

If you've used a 1912 Star or something comparable, I'd say it's about the same, which is mild but efficient. I get a fantastic BBS shave with mine from three passes, and it's a long-lasting shave. One of my favorite SEs.

Thanks to all. The BT should be here end of the week, and hopefully the blades arrive at the same time. Then it'll be time to party like it's 1939.

Of the SEs I've tried so far, the Bullet Tip is my favorite. I just wanted to add that it's considered to be on the milder side for an SE. I'd say it's more aggressive than say, a 34c though. It depends on where you're coming from.........

An excellent shaver, but not one that I could use every day.

On the mild side.
But incredibly effective.

Try one.

I lose out on some great razors by having sensitive skin.

SE razors take a different technique. I have sensitive skin like that of a woman or a teen boy. Seriously I get confused a lot for a 17 year old despite being 24.

Despite my sensitive skin I can even use the ER 1924- the r41 of the SE world. I can't even use a Merkur... Certainly not a Fatip. The blade corner guards make a big difference too. SEs have them, DEs do not- except the Feather popular which is incidentally the only DE I can use and enjoy.

I wouldn't give up on a razor after only one or two uses... I would have continued using cartridge razors if I quit wet shaving without even really trying.

I've gone through a bunch of SE's now; the Bullet Tip was one I never tried before. I could see some potential but don't want to pay the cost any more when there are other razors around that show immediate payback. The Feather, as you mention, is one. My injector is another.
