Anyone know where I can order a sample of Cade shave soap?  The nearest L'Occtaine retailer is over 100 miles from my home.

Thanks.

Joe

I personally don't but the smell is phenominal, much better than the ASB. It's a thirsty soap and requires some tinkering in order to get the proper mixture correct. It's relatively cheap too if you just grab the puck

I don't but if you're going to be paying for shipping anyway why not order a whole puck? It's great soap.

Thanks guys.  I guess I'll just order a puck.  If for some reason I don't like it, I can always use it as a bath bar.

It's hard to go wrong with Cade. It performs well and it's a scent that I enjoy each time that I use it.

I prefer their other scent for balm. The cade balm smells a bit like baby powder or lotion. I haven't tried it yet but the scent is nothing like the soap.

The wife took the daughter shopping for school clothes yesterday.  When I came home from work there was a little L'Occitane bag on the table.  "What's in the bag?" I asked.  "We got you something!" my wife replied, which told me all I needed to know about how much they spent.  Still, gifts are nice.  They gave me the Cade cream in a tub for Father's Day.  I used it for the second time last night, still pretty impressed with the comfort it provided considering it's not tallow based.  I hope the soap performs as well as the cream.

L'Occitae sometimes has free shipping sales online with no min order required. I took advantage of this on a Plisson synthetic brush, but I didn't think about this soap. I was too busy trying to finalize my order for the brush. Lol!!! I couldn't hit the sales confirmation fast enough. Biggrin

I got free shipping over $25 so I threw in the balm.  I have read very positive reviews on this item so I figured it was a safe blind buy.  Anxious to try both.

The Cade Rich cream (jar, not tube) is on another level of awesome in both scent and performance. Great stuff.

I agree with you.  I tried it and returned it.   L'O once made a cade aftershave that was Incredible. Just like the soap but stronger.  They stopped making it a few years ago, many including myself begged via customer service to bring it back and so when this came out I had high hopes...but they were dashed.  The scent wasnt similar to their Cade line at all to me.

The soap and ASB arrived today.  Both performed very nicely.  Glad I picked these up.

The soap is awesome, the cream not so much and when it comes to the aftershave and cologne , Baux is their best. As voted by random women I met on the street. Sleepy

I have tried any of Cade's aftershaves.  Though the scent of the balm is very different from the soap, it is a wonderful product- second best balm I have used.  QCS ASBs are my favorite.

This is how I felt about CADE Soap back in 2014 and nothing has happened to change my mind.  I will be visiting the Cade store in Madison next month.  My wife loves their products also, so I always take her with me when I need some new products.  She always spends way more than I do, so it is a good time for me to stock up without her complaining on how much I spend for shaving supplies.

The stuff's one of my go-to when trying out new stuff.

My first real 'splurge' in wet shaving was that awesome aluminum bowl.
