I believe you need to get in touch with Lee to buy a new M&F, or buy one second hand.

Depends where you are.  Old Town Shaving buys them on used sites and then marks them up 300%, so that is always an option  Blush

Buy from Lee directly, then you don't pay any markup for someone being able to get in contact with him.  Even used prices on forums are often more then direct.

Nope no where besides old town shaving.
Most probably you won't be able to get in touch with him like 99% of the people. You can try to message him but it's pretty much useless. Your only hope is to wait for one to pop up on the bst or post a wtb

I have a T&H Wellington. A very nice brush. It's probably a Rooney, but apparently the new ones are made by Vulfix.  The printing on the "Rooney" and "Vulfix" ones are different.  Check out the threads on this on the forums if you want to get what most consider the superior Rooney one and not the Vulfix one.  The font used on each is different and pretty easy to see.  The printing on the one on the Shaving.ie site seems to be the older Rooney style and the one on the T&H site seems to be the Vulfix version.  If you want the old style, you should make sure that the one pictured on Shaving.ie is the same as the one you'll get, and not just an old picture.

Good point. I had not heard this before. I dont have any concrete answers on this, as i have not ordered the one on shaving.ie. I almost did last week but i decided to hold off for the wolf whiskers waitlist

I tried last year to get an old stock Rooney-made T&H. Every place I checked (I was pretty thorough) had only the newer Vulfix ones. Ended up getting an M&F from Lee instead in the same style. It is a nice brush.

I don't think any of the T&H brushes are Rooney/MF knotted anymore on vendor shelves.

I'm sure the Vulfix ones are nice too though.

I have it good authority that a LE Paladin will be for sale at TSN in the BST here in the very near future (unless it's sold by the time it reaches the pages here).

I would try Lee directly , placing a wtb also is a good option. I have acquired beautiful examples using both methods.

I agree trying lee directly is worth a shot. He's really busy right now so expect a little delay. Bst is always a great way to buy M&F.

Apologies...just seen that it's been sold.
