Wolfman Ti : all titanium razor

James (Wolfman Razors) and I were talking a few months ago, and the subject of titanium razor handles came up during the course of conversation.
I asked about the possibility of an all titanium razor, and he indicated interest in exploring this idea further.
The project was an interesting challenge for him, as he wanted to push the boundaries of his machining and finishing capabilities further.
He cautioned me several times about the costs involved (materials, tooling, etc.) and I expressed understanding, asking that he go ahead.

The items were recently completed and the closed comb razor head as well as two handles (WRH2 and WRH7) arrived today.
This is the first all titanium razor, that I'm aware of.

Pictures cannot adequately capture the sheer beauty of this metal alloy as crafted by James.
The detailing is meticulous and impeccable.

James stated that titanium razor heads and handles will not be production models at this time; this was a 'one time' special project.
He has not ruled out the possibility of making some in the future though.

These pieces are outstanding, and truly reflect the reputation that Wolfman has attained.
Bravo, James!

Looks amazing, James does great work for sure. How about the weight of the razor, compared to the stainless steel versions?

It should be about half the weight, and double the weight of an aluminum razor.

I have not weighed these pieces yet : they should be approximately 55% of comparable stainless steel pieces.

It depends on what alloy of stainless steel you're comparing to. Titanium and aluminum are pure elements, so their specific gravity doesn't vary. Stainless can have different mixes, so it can vary a little.

After using these titanium pieces, it's not likely that you'll be able to go back to stainless steel, who could blame you. As a friend, you have my unwavering support. Please feel free to burden me with the stainless ones if your disappointment in them becomes too great to bear. You have my address... Angel
