Hi all,

I would like to sell this Semogue SOC 2 Bands in cherry wood because is not getting much of my attention.
The brush is in perfect condition, despite the little bit shown in the last photo.

I am asking $65 with shipping worlwide included (with tracking code).

PM me for any question.

I think you are still priced a little too high.  Especially considering the chip in the side.  At Gifts And Care they are selling for $60.45 US brand new, before the B&B forum membership 10% discount one can easily obtain.  At Vintage Scent they are going for about $68 US.  There is shipping and tax on top of that I know, but...

Anyhow, I really like mine and think they are great brushes.  GLWTS!

Thanks for being a gentleman about it Rui.

It looks like you have one of the newer versions of this knot.  I think Semogue has really improved the specs on this brush and it is one of the best values in 2 band brushes out there for this size of a brush (24mm.)  The newer versions as opposed to the ones from a couple of years back are quite improved in my opinion with much better flow through, a much softer face feel and just the right amount of scrub.  Really pleasant to use.  I'm really impressed with mine and honestly, if those retailers I mentioned before weren't selling it for less, I would have said $80 is still a bargain for the quality of this brush.  The wood is also treated with a heavy duty sealant that does not wash off like some others (I'm looking at you here Muhle...) and I have never heard of one of these Semogue SOC wood handles failing.

All in all, I highly recommend this brush unless you are like my friend Celestino who is into really huge brushes!!  Biggrin

Not sure how long you've had it so far, but I would advise using it a bit more before you make a decision to sell. It really is a wonderfully made Portuguese brush!

This thread just goes to show how -valuable- this Semogue is. Who would think of selling it in the context of other options for ... bucks (you name the price, it is an excellent offering).

I like mine, and was thinking about getting Rui´s. It looks like one of the good ones.

Good luck with the sale, I am one who can hardly sell anything as  everything grows on me! Not selling mine.... Smile

Rui,

You should try the Semogue Barbear Classico Texugo if you can get one.  Absolutely a beautiful handle and super soft, but firm bristles.  I love mine and it is a smaller version of this stellar brush.  I will never sell my SOC or Barbear Classico Texugo brushes.  They are fantastic for me.
