I wonder how often you guys rotate your fragrance ?

Do you wear the same frag day and night or do you change to a night time scent for the evening ?

I don't have a signature scent, because I constantly rotate my fragrances.

I also often mix a couple of fragrances for fun.

I have a solid fragrance collection that lets me rotate my fragrances on a yearly basis.
This means I rotate fragrances daily, and never use the same fragrance more than once a year (only when I test them I will wear the same frag several times during a week)

So how often do you rotate your fragrances ?

I rotate between 15 fragrances. 15 bottles are manageable.
During hot summer only used two fragrances . Not much rotation during summer .
I can't imagine to have 365 like you:-)

I own that in the 180 ml version - that's the totally blacked out one, very nice soapy citrus blend, very classy.
My problem with signature scent is that the nose get fatigues from smelling the same smell, so you end not being able to smell the signature fragrance you wear.

The same if you ask a farmer if his fields don't smell of fecals and manure. He will tell you it's not that bad, while your eyes almost run in water from the strong smell of fresh manure and fecals running through your nostrils  Smile

I don't use Colognes or EdT, but I do use aftershave every day.  I have 16 bottles of aftershave and use a different one every day.

Clothing addiction - mostly stylish clothing, but also casual.
100+ dress shirts, 200+ Polo's (Lacoste, Ralph Lauren, Fred Perry, Boss, Armani), suits, jackets, ties, dress shoes, coats........
Golf addiction, but had to stop due to knee problems. But my golf gear would cost what you pay for a BMW 325   Biggrin
Tennis addiction, had a lot of gear, but also sold that due to knee problems - but still use my tennis apparel for fitness/The gym, and have 100+ new high quality Nike polo tennis shirts, Federer style, and 50+ Nike shorts.
Had a lot of both new and old style Pete Sampras and Roger Federer limited edition Wilson tennis rackets (18 in total)
Computers, HIFI gear, tech geek, used to collect books/novels/litterature.
Music collection - have over 2000 original Cd's and used to have 1500 Lp records

That's it, really  Smile

I have about 12 to 15 I use but am culling the herd. Would love to try some SANDLEWOOD of some sort but don't want to drop $30 for a bottle. Some smell good in bottle but don'e smill good on me. If my daughters are around, they take great delight in picking something that smells "manly".

If I use one fragrance exclusively on a daily basis, I start to lose the ability to smell the scent of that particular aroma after a while. Rotate between different scents and I don't have that problem. Don't know why my nose works that way.

Are you sure we can't talk you in to other hobbies?  You need a Mont Blanc Meisterstück Pearl LeGrand fountain pen to go with those suits. Wink

I choose based on mood, occasion or day / night or matching a soap.

I am in the process choosing which ones to sell as I'd like to have a tighter collection (only keeping ones I love ... Some YouTube videos led to some bad blind buys). When that's done, I anticipate having about 25 or 30 covering a wide range.

I also have at least 75 samples to wade through, so the total number might be higher

I don't normally rotate within the same day, but I do sometimes use different fragrances on different days. I only rotate between about 5 or 6 different fragrances. I do have a favorite I tend to use most often though.

I have used the same two fragrances for many years....Floris Santal and Penhaligons Blenheim Bouquet. Simply depends on my mood.

I sometimes wish I could use the same scent for months and not get bored with it and experience nose fatigue from it.

But since I DO, I rotate fragrances each day, and often twice a day.

My evening scent will then often end up being a now milder faint bed time scent.

If using a scent just before bedtime I make sure to use a mild citrus scent or just a single spray of a stronger more powerful scent. Otherwise I end up with a slight headache in the morning.

I usually change scents twice a day. Once in the morning and then again in the evening after the gym.

I have over 50 bottles of 50ml or more and not sure how many samples or smaller decants. I select based on mood, weather, season, event or just a whim. I rarely wear the same scent 2 times in a row.

I can't wait for fall so I can break out the hard core leathers.
