I have my Pils for around 1 month and have play with some blades.  I have used up to now, Polsilver, Feather and Astra SP.

With the Pils, Polsiver give me the best shave with no irritation up to now.  The Feather is really close to the Polsiver but with a bit of irritation.

The Astra is really too soft with this razor and end up with some cuts.

And you, which blade is your favorite.

I like mine with a Med Prep, but I'm going to try some others.

I only tried med prep in the Pils up to now - and they feel perfect with the Pils.
Polsilver will be my next try.

I have been using feathers for a week and still hoping to find the sweet spot angle for a bbs. Been getting consistent dfs..perhaps polsilver is next.

Tried a Polsilver last night.  It was pretty good, but not as good as the Med Prep.  I am going to give it another run tomorrow and see how it feels.

I have received Personna med prep blades today.  I have shaved with it and here is my though about it.

The blade is really sharp and smooth.  Against the Polsilver, a bit more sharper but a bit less smooth.

The Med prep against the Feather,  as much sharp and a bit more smooth.

I will shave for the next few days with the Personna to see how much the blade change.

I have used both the personna med preps and polsilver in mine and enjoy both but like the med preps a little better! They seem to like my facial hair and skin type better

I'm new but I have been liking KAI blades in my AS-D2 with ikon lower bases. (Open, closed)
Don't see KAI talked about on this forum. But they make Kershaw knifes and shun cutlery.
