I am so pleased. A couple of months ago I had cataract surgery in my left eye and 2 weeks ago I had it in my right. I am now officially free of glasses except for reading.

Left eye before surgery 20/400
After surgery 20/25

Right eye before surgery 20/200
After surgery 20/25

I'm almost glad I had the cataracts now. They put me in touch with a doctor who could fix everything else while he took them out!

Thanks to all who posted their good wishes. Biggrin

Congrats!

The only thing I'm unsure about when I go for mine is how will it affect my shooting? I probably won't be able to shoot big kickers for awhile unless it's a handcannon. But how about iron sights? I'd hate to have to give up Action Pistol, and have no interest in moving out of Single Stack classification. Anybody know?

Good news , any type of surgery near the eyes is always worrisome.
