OK. This one isn't shaving related but it should be a bit harder.

Whose catchphrase was "EYeeeeeeeeeeessssssssssssss" and what TV show was he primarily associated with?

Me too. Did you get up early on Saturdays before TV signed on for the day and watch the test pattern? I sure did.

Yes, I did. I can still remember clearly that test pattern sound.

Heh heh heh. Be glad for sure!

The answer is Frank Nelson on The Jack Benny Program. Nelson was the guy who always gave Benny a hard time at various places. He would be standing with his back to Benny and Benny would say "Oh mister! Mister!" and Nelson would turn around and say "Eyyeeeeeeeeessssssss?"

The Jack Benny Program ran on television from 1952 I think to 1965. He was on radio for twenty years before TV.

OK, Let's keep this going.

What was the brownnosers name on Leave It To Beaver? The friend of the Beav and (mostly) his brother? One and the same. First and last name.

I disliked the character, and he played his role so well!

No fair checking IMdb or other sites like that!

One more question, not a test question, anybody remember Ernie Kovacs? He had me in stitches! Tears rolling down my cheeks it was so hilarious! Fantastic stuff! Remember the 3 gorillas routine(s)? I'd love to a have a best of Ernie Kovacs disk if it exists.

Eddie Haskell. Biggrin I hated him too.

I remember Ernie Kovacs very well. Percy Dovetonsils was my favourite of his characters. The skit that I remember best is all the people getting out of a bathtub one at a time. Must have been 15 of them. Kovacs was a genius. He left us way too soon!

NEXT QUESTION!

On the Gunsmoke TV Show (not the radio show) what was Chester's last name?

You got it! The reason I specified the TV show is because on the radio show Chester was played by Parley Baer and Chester's last name was Proudfoot.

Anyone else care to pose a question?????
