Maybe you haven't heard but the Speick shave stick now comes in a nice twist up container. That is a nice improvement. A good product just got better.

I am wondering if it will be a wider diameter stick like a Tabac stick or TOBS stick.

It looks like they just put the original stick inside of one of those adjustable tubes, similar to the ones Muehle sells for brushes.  If that is the case it will make travel a bit better, but application will remain the same.

It is probably the same stick as before but what is really nice now is that it comes in a convenient twist up case. It makes it easy to use, to store, and to travel with. It's a win - win deal.

The only sticks that I know of that come with a dispenser is Tabac and Mystic Water.  All the others get a bit slippery at times.

Plus Lea and La Toja. No twist mechanism but still, better presentation and ease of use than good old Wilkinson.

Yet we don't have the equivalent to, say, a TOBS wooden bowl, let alone an equivalent to Saponificio Varesino stone bowl on shave stick version.
From what I've seen D.R. Harris is the better looking but not necessarily the best to use.
Hopefully Speick gets the ball rolling.

The Lea and the La Toja just has the plastic cap. The same as the Wilkinson. The cover does nothing for ease of use. They all should have a twist up container. But still there are a lot of top notch soaps out there in a stick that are equivalent to any other. Speick for one is as good as any with many more I could name.
